Our cohorts in action

Being part of a group or community is really what most businesses are all about. Whether we are a client or an employee, we normally want to feel a sense of connectivity with the brand and with the others we come across in association with it. That’s why we put cohorts and the centre of our training programme too. We believe that community and togetherness are drivers of success and happiness in the workplace, and we match that when finding the perfect job for our graduates. You’ll be part of a cohort of likeminded people all working towards securing their dream StartUp job.

How we select candidates

We want our candidates to be the best at what they do and we build our cohorts to be both talented and diverse. Teams are at their best when those within them have differing skills, talents and perspectives and we’re conscious to foster this when selecting candidates. Our expectation is that every graduate that joins us is able to contribute positively to the cohort. This might mean you’re an excellent communicator. Perhaps you are a natural leader or a talented analyst. The list is endless, but high standards and diversity are at the heart of everything that we do.

What you can expect from the training cohort

The setup of the cohort is just as important as the content that you’ll cover. The 5 modules span Employability, Communication, Commercial Acumen, Brand and Marketing, and Environment. Whilst studying these modules you will have a blend of self-guided and taught lessons, culminating with a live day of collaborative learning together as a cohort. Not only is this a chance to meet each other, it’s also a valuable networking experience.

On the final day of our cohort, you’ll meet StartUps who are looking to hire talented graduates (that’s you!). You’ll get a chance to learn about their companies and the roles they have available. You’ll choose your favourites and secure interviews with them.

What you can expect from the graduate cohort

The graduate cohort is perhaps even more important than the training one. After completing your programme and securing a job, you’ll be welcomed into the wider Libra Careers graduate community. With monthly socials, networking and training events, you’ll continue to benefit from attending the training with us.
