Libra Career’s first cohort

November saw the first graduates pass through our training and employment programme!

With the StartUp world constantly battling for the best and most diverse talent in the market it only felt right for us to use our connections across the UK university sector to help them out. After receiving 1000 applications to join our programme we whittled the numbers down to the top 20 graduates that would join our cohort in November.

The graduates all come from Russell Group universities and have a little something special in the way they conduct themselves and the experiences that they have already had. They are then given a 25 hours training programme on communication, commercial acumen, resilience, marketing and more, before being introduced to 20 top StartUps looking to hire.

Feedback given by candidates was overwhelmingly positive. 100% of the graduates found the training ‘extremely useful’ or ‘very useful’ for both self-guided and live-taught modules. The graduates are passing through final round interviews with their chosen StartUps ahead of starting new positions in January.

The next cohort is now live for applications as we search for the next group of 20 graduates that will set the world on fire. The cohort itself will take place from the 1st of February to the 2nd of February. StartUps are invited to register interest now to present their business to gain access to the best Russell Group graduates with between 0 and 3 years of experience in the workplace.
