Mentoring and ongoing Support

Starting a new role is full of opportunity but it carries with it some challenges too. If it didn’t, you probably wouldn’t be interested in anyway right? But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have support in place and someone who you can talk to. That is why, after we place a graduate in a new company we provide 6 months of mentoring completely free of charge.

How can they help you?

Your mentor is there to help you with the big problem as well as the small things that help you get on with your job. In the first instance, they’ll help you to get settled in, work out how to use the systems and platforms if they’re needed and allow you to get stuck in from the word go. As you settle in your role, you’ll have plenty of questions about how to make the most of the opportunity and progress in the company. They’ll meet with you once per month and be available through emails, phones and messages in the intervening time to give you all the support you need.

Who are our mentors?

Our mentors are drawn from a diverse range of backgrounds, professions and positions to help us find the right match for you. They are always separate from the company and anything you discuss with them is completely confidential. This means your discussions with them are completely confidential and your mentor will always put your best interests first.

If you like working with them, you will have an option to continue working with them beyond the first 6 months.

Libra Careers is there too!

After you are placed in a role, you’ll still be a member of the Libra Careers community. You’ll be connected with other cohorts and form personal and business relationships through our regular socials.
