Libra Careers matches the UK’s most talented graduates with the UK’s most innovative, fast-growth StartUps, and provides expert training and mentorship so that they can hit the ground running on their first day.
We discover, screen, assess, and onboard candidates to ensure a successful placement and productive relationship.
As a candidate, you’ll take part in a one-week training programme to ensure you’re ready for an agile and fast-paced start-up environment, with modules covering everything from managing clients and conflict to presenting, problem solving, and productivity.
StartUps gain access to a uniquely talented pool of graduates and benefit from third party recruitment, training, support, which frees up time and resources to focus on business growth.

StartUps are looking for talented graduates to help them grow and deliver tomorrow’s game-changing ideas - could it be you?
Graduating can be as daunting as it is exciting. After three years or more of learning and working hard, you’re ready to share your talents with the world. But where to start?
Like many, you might be drawn to a graduate scheme at big name business, which is a perfectly valid option. Increasingly, however, graduates like you are realising their skills can be better utilised and more easily appreciated in smaller, more dynamic businesses.
With Libra Careers, you can join a fast-growth StartUp, learn vital skills quickly, and make a real impact from day one.
We select only the best candidates from the UK’s most prestigious universities, and put them through a rigorous selection process. If successful, you’ll join an exclusive cohort of graduates invited to take part in our one-week training programme in London to prepare you for your new role in an agile, exciting StartUp.
The modules cover employability, communication, commercial acumen and more, and include everything from problem solving and presentations to client management and culture.
But we don’t just leave you to fend for yourself. For your first six months, you’ll be assigned a mentor who’ll be on hand to offer guidance and ensure you settle into your new role. This will help you meet expectations and stay on track with commercial goals for a fruitful and lasting relationship with your new employer.

StartUps - How can we help you?
As a StartUp, when it comes to recruitment, it can be hard to compete with larger businesses, who can afford to devote much greater resources to snapping up and training the best graduates.
And when you do land a talented individual, it can be challenging to find the time to ensure they settle in and provide the support they need to deliver results. As well as being a blow to morale, each failed hire can cost your business tens of thousands of pounds.
With Libra Careers, not only do you get access to talented graduates, those graduates are given expert training in everything from communication to commercial acumen to ensure they hit the ground running from day one. They’ll also receive mentoring for their first six months. This helps them stay on track with key responsibilities and commercial goals, which increases the chance of a successful placement, while freeing up your time to spend elsewhere.
You’ll have the opportunity to interview candidates either during the training programme or after they’ve completed their training, with the freedom to arrange interviews at a time and place that suits you.
We can also provide ad-hoc training for non-cohort hires. For example, if you have any direct applicants in need of training, they can take part in either our full training programme or a condensed version that focuses on the core skills they’ll need.
Every StartUp is different, and we understand that, in order to support growth, you’ll need to make strategic hires in specific roles.
