Successful placements with Libra Careers

Breaking into StartUps as a recent graduate or early career professional has never been easier with the Libra Careers programme.

Challenges for recruitment

Ensuring you have the right people in the business is always at the forefront of managers’ minds. Over the past 12 months of tight labour markets it’s not just hiring but also training and retention that has occupied a large part of managers’ minds as well.

The combination of these challenges means that the time is right for companies to rethink and adapt their hiring procedures ensuring that they are hiring from the widest and more diverse talent pool, using the most streamlined and cost-effective processes. This is perhaps the true strength of the Libra Careers programme.

We use our networks across universities and early careers professionals to bring together candidates that are passionate about StartUps but otherwise lacked a pathway into the sector.

Recent placement

Time to Spare helps charities and community groups save time, get more funding and reach more people. As they build towards the next phase of their growth they needed a business development and relationship manager. This was a particularly difficult role to hire for because of the blend of skills required.

“Our team is small and so everyone has the chance to make a massive impact. We look for motivated grads to come in and drive us forward and Libra Careers helps us find those people. We’ll be recruiting from their next cohort.” Tom, Co-Founder

In Cohort 1, they found several candidates with prior experience in the social space and deeply passionate about working for Time to Spare.
